We all love trilogies, right? For the third time, we've again shifted our focus away from Germany in order to spend some time on European travel in general! There's just too many tips and tricks to be contained in just one episode. We'll of course also be giving our opinions on some myths about visiting Europe. We'll be going over: why you should stay away from most large tour companies, myths about hostels, scams you should avoid, and more!

We're all floating through this life trying to make connections with other people. Is it easier in some places, than it is in others? This week we open up a discussion on friendliness! Fresh off of my trip to the USA, I was was again struck by how open and friendly Americans are with complete strangers. This grew into a wider discussion with Alex on the differences between meeting and interacting with people in the USA vs. Germany. Let's do it!

Mother f*$king John Denver strikes again. Except this time, instead of going back home to the country roads of Virginia, Geoff went home to the west coast of the USA to finally visit his family after 2 long years away! While he was there, his long absence made him see certain ordinary American things in a whole new light. This week we'll again be discussing "reverse culture shock" and how living in abroad for many years can change your perspective of your own home country. We'll also discuss how Geoff unfortunately caught Covid during his trip to the USA, which is why we had to take a 3 week hiatus from the podcast. Having said that...we're back baby!
